1. Eligibility Criteria for Applicants:
- The Research Awards are open to Undergraduates, Graduates, and Postgraduates up to the level of Senior Registrar.
- The Applicant should be one of the authors of the study.
- If the Applicant cannot attend the conference, he/she can designate another co-author from the study to
present the research. However, the prize money (if awarded) and e-certificate will be given only to the
primary applicant and not the presenting author.
2. Abstract Submission Guidelines:
- The abstract submitted should be relevant to the theme of the conference.
- The abstract must represent a completed research study. Submissions of research proposals or ongoing
projects are not eligible. - Only unpublished research will be accepted for the Research Awards.
- The abstract submitted must not have been previously presented at any of the previous Research Awards
organized by HealthRAB. - The abstract should not exceed 250 words, including headings and body text.
- The title should be reflective of the study, intervention, or program. It should be concise and in sentence
case (not all caps). - Include the full names of all authors and specify their affiliations (institution, department, city).
- Briefly describe the context or rationale for the study in the introduction or background.
- Clearly state the purpose or aim of the research in the objective.
- Outline key methods, design, and tools used in the study.
- Highlight main findings or expected outcomes in the results section. Use concise language and avoid
detailed tables or figures in the abstract. - State the implications or significance of the research in the conclusion.
2.1. Abstract Formatting:
- Use Calibri font, 12-point size, and single spacing.
- Write in clear, concise English and avoid jargon, abbreviations, or undefined acronyms.
- Maintain 1-inch margins on all sides.
- Submit the abstract in Word or PDF format.
