Riphah International University launched the Riphah Institute of Healthcare Improvement &amp; Safety (RIHIS), with the mission \u201cTo Provide Safe &amp; Quality Healthcare to Patients\u201d and a vision \u201cTo Create a Reliable Healthcare Ecosystem in the Region that Enables Harm Free Care with Zero Medical Errors\u201d.<\/p><p class=\"m-1770995995179451565msolistparagraph\" style=\"text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;\">RIHIS, as the pioneering institute of quality &amp; patient safety, aims to provide an infrastructure that will oversee, coordinate and support patient safety and quality efforts and translational research to improve healthcare all over Pakistan.<\/p><p class=\"m-1770995995179451565msolistparagraph\" style=\"text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;\">RIHIS plans to train leaders in quality improvement and patient safety and to promote research that defines best practices for healthcare quality improvement and patient safety. As we move from traditional models towards bold, new ideas for healthcare reform, the call is on to build creative coalitions and to think in innovative ways. The unique challenges and strengths of hospitals create opportunities for collaboration among disciplines to reshape the healthcare landscape. Additionally, we will develop strong collaborative relationships with various quality experts internationally.
